My favorite image editing program is the GIMP. I am no pro-artist so nearly all of Photoshop's functionality is wasted on me. I am, however, a cheapskate, so I like free and open source image editing applications.
Needed to install it today on my test PC. But what's the URL?, Ah yes, Gimp.com obviously.
Silly me. There is a similarity between the word to describe the GNU Image Manipulation Program and strange individuals who like catsuits, popularised by Jerry Springer and Pulp Fiction. One is safe for work, the other less so. I realised this just after pressing enter. Thankfully, Gimp.com takes me to "Greater Independance Thought Management Programs". And my fears that my editor or publisher peering over my shoulder might drop a P45 on my desk turned out to be unfounded.
Of course GIMP's real URL is www.gimp.org
